Join Wapiti Archers

The Membership at Wapiti Archers of Pennsylvania is open and accepting new members. All interested archers are encouraged to attend an event and experience what the club has to offer. Monthly business meetings are held on Wednesdays following the 1st Sunday Outdoor 3D Shoot. Potential members are encouraged to attend.

Wapiti Archers is an Outdoor Facility. The club grounds are gated, and the Clubhouse is inaccessible unless an event is in session. The bathrooms are separate from the clubhouse and located behind the building.

Practice Range

The practice range at Wapiti Archers is quite impressive and features an elevated platform to simulate a tree stand. It is two-sided, with Broadhead Targets on one side and Standard Bag Targets on the other. Targets are spaced in five-yard increments from 15 to 60 Yards. There is also a covered shooting line to provide shelter from the rain.

Walking 3D Course

Wapiti Archers has been in operation for several decades. Their original walking course was a modified NFAA Animal Round with paper targets. As paper targets were phased out and 3D Targets became popular, the course changed with the times. Wapiti Archers is one of the few clubs in the area that offer a 3D Course available to members year-round at no additional cost.

Public Outdoor 3D Shoots utilize this walking course with additional targets (30 Target Minimum – the last time I shot there, they had 40 targets set up). The cost to attend these Public Outdoor 3D Shoots is $15 for adults, $5 for kids between the ages of 11 and 16, and Free for kids under 11.
