Join Chestnut Hill Archery Club
Chestnut Hill Archery Club is off PA Route 10 in Morgantown, PA. The clubhouse is clean and spacious and includes a kitchen with food and soft drinks available during events. The Indoor range features a 20 Yard, 16 Lane Block Target Wall with independent target butts that can be moved for shorter distances.
As of 2023, Membership dues are $60 annually, with Membership Meetings held at 7:00 pm on the First Tuesday of each month. Potential members are encouraged to attend meetings to learn what the club has to offer.
The Practice Range is located behind the clubhouse with target butts out to 60 Yards. There is also a 14-Target Field Course through the woods.
Outdoor 3D Shoots are held from April through September. Chestnut Hill Archery Club is one of the few that shoot Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The 3D Course is split into two 20-target halves, with the Clubhouse situated at the break. This provides an opportunity to purchase some food and rest up before returning to the course.
The Outdoor 3D course winds through the woods on mosty-flat terrain that is easy to walk and great for young archers. The course includes several elevated shooting platforms that make shots fun and exciting. I have only had the pleasure of shooting at Chestnut Hill Archery Club a handful of times, but it was an excellent experience, and I look forward to returning with my children.
South Eastern PA 3D Money League
Chestnut Hill Archery Club is part of the South Eastern PA 3D Money League. This league is hosted by Chestnut Hill Archery Club, Topton Fish and Game Association, Popodickon Bowmen, and Reading Archery Club. Scores shot at each club earn points towards a Final Tournament with cash prizes.
