After a successful tournament in 2023, the Limerick Youth Archery Association has announced its 2024 Coach-Am Tournament for Saturday, July 20, 2024.
Over the past several years, Limerick Bowmen has developed a fantastic Youth Archery Program – Limerick Youth Archery Association. The program aims to introduce children to the sport, teaching them archery fundamentals and making them part of a team. In addition to shooting, they can also learn other essential skills, such as arrow building and bow maintenance, under Head Coach Gary Gerhart.
As the program grew, the Limerick Youth Archery Association launched its first annual Coach-Am Tournament in 2023. The tournament consisted of randomly drawn teams matching up 1 Adult / Coach to 3 Youth Archers. Scoring mimics a 3D Archery ASA Pro-Am Format, with the best three arrows counting for a team score.
If you are interested in participating in the 2nd Annual Limerick Youth Archery Association Coach-Am Tournament, we encourage you to register at the LYAA Website.
